Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to the recruitment website for the post of Headteacher at Dobcroft Junior School. This role has arisen as our previous head moved on to a new role in September 2009, and we currently have in place an interim Lead Headteacher. I hope that the following pages will give you a real insight into life at our already successful, popular and inclusive school and the exciting opportunity that lies ahead for our new Headteacher. We are looking forward with ambition and excitement to the next stage of our development.

Our school is an outstanding school with a strong emphasis on high attainment and the personal development of our children spiritually, morally and culturally.

However, this does not mean that the school lacks challenges. As such we are looking for a Headteacher who can build on our values and beliefs to ensure that the school is constantly moving forward.
